Specializing in Books on Bodywork
Introducing L P Media Limited
(Lotus Publishing)
Lotus Publishing is a small independent British publisher specializing in books on bodywork and complementary therapies. Bodywork is a fast-growing market, encompassing for example massage, shiatsu, physiotherapy, neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage. Bodywork, as a term, originated in the US, but is now becoming more commonly used in the UK. Full colour, innovation, and amazing clarity are a few of the distinguishing features of Lotus Publishing's range of bodywork and complementary therapy books.
Because the books are aimed at the student / early practitioner market, there are attractive discounts available to schools / colleges of massage, physiotherapy, anatomy, shiatsu, on-site massage, Eastern practices, or any other form of bodywork that would find the books useful to sell to students, or to use as part of the package available to students (e.g. the cost of a book could be included in the course fee). A number of bodywork schools nationwide have already started buying direct at discount so don't miss out. Please contact the Lotus Publishing head office for details.
Chris Jarmey's The Concise Book of Muscles is now a course text for many colleges around the world specializing in bodywork. Chris Jarmey has also written books on Eastern bodywork methods such as shiatsu, which puts him in a unique position of understanding bodywork from a Western and Eastern perspective.
